This unfortunately is just one of many missing souls. My grandmother had 11 siblings of whom I have no memory. They all escaped in 1945. I believe some made it to the US, some grew up in the former GDR. Horric stories and we all handle them differently. They impact us differently. I am super glad that you read this post.
