I agree, Susannah! Searching for new paths because the well-trodden lead to destruction ultimately. My experience is pretty eye-opening and I am grateful for a month of down-to-earth work that pays bills and brings food to the table.

I am planning on doing this kind of job once a year for a couple of weeks. I am priviledged not having to do it on a regular basis, but the lessons I take home are invaluable. It makes me less indifferent towards the world around me.
