I know, Lisa! Then there are those with golden hearts and minds. I am sure you find like-minded. The last years have shown me again what humans are capable of! Good and bad!

No one is perfect. Not required. Love and compassion is the only solution as you say. I hope you still get to spend time with your mom no matter her current condition. I always thought that we still reach each other even though we may not be able to communicate any longer the way we know it.
