If you follow 100 authors per month, that’s a lot. I don’t go by quantity because I won’t read any of them. Unless we read one article, follow and are never to be seen again.

It’s funny that everyone hangs out for more and more followers. But what does that actually do for us?

I engage with maybe a dozen writers here meaningfully, very personally. That’s it.

And sometimes I play with the follow button the wrong way. Maybe you lost a soul because they, too, got the button mixed up :-).
