This is a great article, June! And it makes my heart crank when I read about all the things women couldn’t or still can’t do.

I lived in both Nepal and Afghanistan. And what I had to see with my own eyes is how bad the situation for women in these and many other countries was and still is.

But I believe women have power; once we understand, no one gives it to us, and we must take it!
