Yes, we do! But no matter for how long, it eventually kicks back in. I read your post top to bottom, but this line really hit home for me. Faith is a weird thing and maybe we need to detach from it as well. But no matter what the circumstances, there's always light ... also in the sense that one day, we shall return home.

I've read a post the other day by Joe Merkle "I am in Awe" how he describes his journey after the passing of his wife and how writing here kept him sane and away from the worst. The darkest of momemts we live through will shed light on someone else's pain later on.

Thank you, Emily, for your honest account. It takes courage to let it all out and find balance again within. Take care with just being in this very moment.
