You feed the light already, John! Even though times are just disgraceful while we think we make no difference. I do one thing every day. When I meet people on the street in the shop, at the gas station, I always say something nice to them. I am often rewarded with a longer chat or just a knowing smile. And I go home smiling, too.

We need to look at what is dividing us and let it starve. Then the powers have no power over us. I lived in Afghanistan for 3 years, the most challenging time of my life. What struck me once I got there: people like you and I. Wanting nothing more than peace and safely raising their families. It breaks my heart to see what we did to this country and its amazing people. Bad guys are everywhere as we know. But it does not justify war. We need social courage! We need to learn to trust our guts and not a politician. We know what is happening, we hold the line. I feed the light with you. Thank you for your valuable thoughts and concerns which I share. Along with many others. We will get through this.
